On August 2018, SINOPEC  BALIN starts the building of a new plant for Thermo-plastic Elastomer SEBS of annual output 50,000tons,based on SINOPEC’s own IP. This project got approval from its parent company SINOPEC on Oct.2017, with two tenders contracted by SINOPEC 4^th Construction Co. and SINOPEC 5^TH Construction Co.. If the new project successful, SINOPEC BALIN will be capable to produce 100,000 tons SEBS annually.

SEBS, a kind of thermoplastic Elastomer, owns very good function. After further compounded, the final products (TPEs) will be mainly used for over-molding, toys, seals,wire & cables, automotive , medical, etc.
